The 2019 Honda HR-V is on its way to dealerships, chock-full of new features and technology! This subcompact SUV shows off two new trims this year, as well as refreshed styling, new technology, and a more refined driving experience. Starting at $20,520*, the HR-V is more versatile than ever, with sporty good looks, a configurable interior, and more comfort and safety technology than ever. Here’s a look at what’s new on the 2019 Honda HR-V!
Every 2019 Honda HR-V model features new styling that makes it unique and striking no matter which trim you opt for. Honda stylists have revised the HR-V’s bumpers, grille, headlights, and taillights for a statement appearance. The new Sport and Touring trims get their own unique exterior styles, too. The Sport trim offers blackout trim and 18-inch wheels to enhance its rally-ready appearance. Meanwhile, the Touring model features multi-element LED headlights as well as LED fog lights, plus a distinguishing dark chrome trim.
There are upgrades to the interior, too. The 2019 Honda HR-V benefits from a new Display Audio system, with a simplified interface and a volume knob. It also integrates Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for easy and convenient smartphone connectivity. HR-V Touring models also get an updated navigation system, with sharper graphics and 3D landmarks. There’s a redesigned driver’s meter in every model, with a large analog speedometer and a digital tachometer. Additionally, EX models and above get a 4.2-inch Thin-Film Transistor Driver Information Interface color display, which offers additional information including turn-by-turn directions.
You’ll also find several driving and performance improvements to the 2019 Honda HR-V. This year’s model benefits from refinements to the standard Continuously Variable automatic Transmission, which gives it a more natural driving feel and a quieter operation. The HR-V’s refinements include other means of reducing noise on the road, including additional sound deadening in the fenders and floors. Sport trims and above also include Active Noise Cancelling technology for a more refined drive. The HR-V also offers an efficient performance, with up to 34 MPG** on the highway!
The 2019 Honda HR-V also features the Honda Sensing safety suite for the first time! This comprehensive safety suite offers lots of features to keep you safe and alert on the road, including but not limited to Collision Mitigation Braking System, Road Departure Mitigation, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Lane Keeping Assist.
